The Heart Behind the Why

From the Heart of My Practice

Come On In — You're Welcome Here

That gesture you see in my photo? It's intentional. This space — and this work — is an open door. Whether you're arriving with years of unspoken pain, a recent loss, or simply a quiet sense that something needs to shift, you are welcome here exactly as you are.

My journey to this calling has been shaped by both rigorous clinical training and the lived experiences that inform how I understand healing. For more than twenty years, I have walked alongside individuals and families navigating some of life's hardest seasons. I have sat with people in their grief, their fear, their uncertainty, and their quiet moments of hope. These years have taught me how to listen beneath the surface, honor the complexity of each person's story, and support healing in ways that feel steady, compassionate, and deeply human.

As an Military Sexual Trauma (MST) survivor and an honorably served, disabled USAF veteran, I understand what it means to carry stories you never asked for. I also know what it means to reclaim your voice, your safety, and your sense of self. My own journey toward peace, prosperity, and passion () shapes the way I show up in the therapy room: grounded, present, and committed to creating a space where you can breathe, unfold, and be whole.

I specialize in trauma-informed care, working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My approach integrates evidence-based modalities including EMDR, somatic experiencing, and cognitive-behavioral therapy, always tailored to meet each client where they are.
